First, let me tell you something. H. accuses me of "secret shopping". "Secret shopping" is where I buy things on the internet (guilty) and - according to him - don't tell him (not guilty, usually). Most of the time I do tell him, but because of his advanced years he forgets. Sucks being old.
Alright, so this time I WAS secret shopping, because what I'm about to show you are things he has never seen or heard about until RIGHT NOW. In my defense, they were going to be part of his birthday present, but then I realized that these were 100% for me and that I was fooling myself pretending they were for him. The truth comes out.
So, I bought these prints on Etsy from Bird Ave:

Back to Ikea - obviously I had to buy frames for these bad-boys.

Ahhhhhhh. It feels good to come out with the truth.
And there's more. But this isn't a surprise to H. so no worries. I also got a frame for a little watercolor doodle (is that the right word?) that H's brother painted.
|I took this photo for H. to see how it looks, but since snapping it the picture has found a spot on our wall. |
