I see around the place that milk glass seems to be back in style. I remember my mom having some milk glass vases when I was young, and I didn't like them. And I still don't like them. For no good reason. But recently I stumbled upon black milk glass, and my feelings are changed.
I didn't know this was referred to as black milk glass! I was given a dish and tray set and I find it quirkily awesome. Quirkily is most definitely a word, despite that spell check says.
I just popped over from hodge:podge! So nice to meet you, Abby :-) Totally envy your NYC living... I looove New York! As for the milk glass - I'm with you on the white, but now the black - that's a whole new ballgame. Black works for me, and those are great pieces you've fearured!

ReplyDeleteQuirkily is totally a word. I'm jealous you have a piece - I've been scouring thrift stores, and I've never found any!

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me!
DeleteI love the black too - it has a totally different look than the white. It's quite chic!
Ooh, I love! I have some milkglass vases because they are about 20 cents at the yucky secondhand store down the street, but black is so much cooler!
